Treatment Room Nurses

Many of the things that you might think you need to see a doctor about can often be dealt with by our nurses.

Routine blood pressure checks, HRT and contraceptive prescribing, minor illness management and management of diabetes, coronary heart disease, asthma, and COPD and many other conditions come within their expertise.

All nurses providing care to patients with Long term conditions undertake further education diplomas in their specialist fields in order to gain further knowledge and skills to ensure high quality evidenced based care is provided to our patients.

Healthcare Support Workers

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement, and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
